Here are 4 ways to know your PF balance:
By EPFO Website
Instead of a Unified Portal, users can now also see the EPF passbook on a separate website. To see the PF passbook on the portal, it is important that your PF account is tagged with Universal Account Number UAN). It is a 12-digit number allocated the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
The passbook is available at https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php website.
Click on the Employee button in the Services column on the PF website, then click Member Passbook in the Services tab. After this, Member Passbook Facility will open in your screen. Enter 12 digit active UAN No. and Member Portal Password here to login and now you can check your passbook.

Remember, the PF passbook of their members who are exempted under the Institute EPF Scheme, 1952 cannot be seen here.
By giving a missed call
You can check your PF balance by giving a missed call. For that, you need a valid UAN number and Registered mobile number. Give a missed call on 011 229 01 406. You will receive an SMS that will denote your PF number, age, name, and PF balance.
You can know your PF balance by Short Code SMS Service.
Just SMS EPFOHO<UAN><LAN> to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number.
The Language (LAN) facility is available in English (default) and Hindi, Punjabi, Guajarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.
By Mobile APP
You can download EPFO’s M-Service app from Google’s Play Store. Go to the Balance / Pass Book section by clicking on the member option in the app. After this, you have to enter the UAN and registered mobile number to check your PF balance.
